Skimming blades
With wide taping knives or drywall skimming blades, layers of filler or filling material are applied to different surfaces, often walls and ceilings. The plaster skimming blade is designed to cover and smooth out irregularities, cracks or voids in the surface to create a smooth and even base for painting or wallpapering work.
Depending on the size and shape, different types of skimming blades for drywall are used for different purposes.
